Any classes open for registration will have a “Sign-Up” and a day/time specified on the registration page. No Sign-Up button means that class is not currently open for registration. Typically, our public classes are offered on Monday and Tuesday evenings and Tuesday mornings. More details about the 2025 schedule coming soon.
** Some classes have prerequisites. Registering for a class for which you’re ineligible may result in removal from the class and no refund.
Please read all of the below information when registering a class.
Vaccination Requirements
Rabies – Per state law, we must have rabies vaccinations on all dogs over 16 weeks of age, no exceptions. We need a copy of the signed rabies certificate that shows the rabies tag number.
DHPP (Distemper/Parvo) – All dogs must be current on their distemper/parvo. Please note that we can only accept vaccination records given by a veterinarian.
Please add the vaccination dates on your dog’s profile AND email us those records at least 48 hours in advance of your class. You can have your vet send directly to us or scan/snap a picture/etc. of your records. Else, bring copies of the paperwork when you arrive for your first class (emailed in advanced is preferred).
We also require a negative stool check (for puppy classes only).
Please bring the following items for your first class:
Leash and buckle collar, slip, or prong collar (no retractable ‘flexi’ leads or chain leads; any collar, with exception of e-collar, is allowed)
Your dog’s favorite soft treats – lots and lots of treats! (and toy if you wish)
Other important details to note:
- No wolves or wolf hybrids
- Persons must be 14 years of age or older to train in class. Family and friends are welcome to observe.
- If your dog comes into season, please email us but do not bring them to class until their heat cycle has ended.
- If your dog is sick, please email us but do not bring them to class until cleared by your vet.
- Dogs not registered in a class are not permitted on DMOTC premises.
- Prices and class schedules are subject to change without notice.
- Our classes have both maximum and minimum capacities.
- DMOTC only offers group classes and is not the right environment for working with a dog who has shown any aggression towards people or other dogs. For everyone’s safety, if your dog has shown any aggressive behavior, we suggest www.apdt.com to find a private trainer.
- We do not do wait lists. When registration for a class is open, a link will be available.
- Sorry, no refunds.
