This class is for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age. We will teach you how to train your puppy to be a good companion and a well-mannered family pet. Perfect way to get off on the right foot with your new puppy.

Our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class has much the same curriculum, with the additional benefit of: This class will be taught by an AKC CGC evaluator. Your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of the course. Upon passing the test, you’ll get an application to send to AKC® for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. All dogs are welcome to participate in the program including purebreds and mixed breeds. Your puppy will receive the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Medal (for display or memento purposes; not suitable as a collar tag). You and your puppy will be listed in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records. For more information, click here.

For the first session
– Please arrive 15 minutes early
– Bring your dog on a leash and buckle collar, slip, or prong collar (no retractable ‘flexi’ leads or chain leads; any collar, with exception of e-collar, is allowed)
– Bring soft treats (more than you think you’ll need!)
– Bring copies of current vaccinations and rabies certificate (if you haven’t emailed)
